What is Blogamp?
Blogamp is a web-based application that lets anyone create their own audiocast for publishing on the web.
What is Audiocasting?
The term refers to anything accessed on or thru the internet that carries your audio message or program.
Blogamp combines both on-demand listening thru any web browser along with Podcasting, which allows the media to be downloaded any computer, portable device or MP3 Player via subscription or by manual download.
How much does Blogamp cost per month/year?
Like anything on the web, hosting isn’t cheap, especially with media. Blogamp offers several levels of service which allow for a minimum amount of storage and plays. Plays are considered any time an audio track is accessed and played (or downloaded) completely by an end user. Each Blogamp has a stat meter which gives you a heads up on your usage. We combine your partial plays with complete plays to create an average number of plays each month. Should you go over, you will be required to upgrade to the next highest plan. If choose to not upgrade we will automatically notify that you need to upgrade and you be billed a the new level in the next billing period. If you pay a year upfront you get almost 2 months free. Also if you order 5 or more Blogamp accounts, you get a 20% discount and access to our Enterprise Edition.
FREE Blogamp?
FREE Blogamp allows you to add MP3s to your playlist by linking to an available MP3 from a website. Because we are not hosting your MP3s this allows you to use Blogamp for FREE and add an unlimited amount of tracks.

How can I customize Blogamp?
Blogamp can be customized in a variety of ways. Upload your logo, change colors of the interface or texts. Add your own links to external sites or RSS Feeds you generate. You can also add podcasting text like shownotes, descriptions and graphics.
How much media can I upload?
Your service plan dictates how much total file storage you are allowed. Each upload should not exceed 25 MB and should be uploaded from a broadband connection using a Flash 8 plug-in.
How can I change the experience for my listeners?
Blogamp provides many ways to present your audiocast. Each Blogamp can be configured to play tracks in sequential order or will pick tracks at random. Also if you want the Blogamp to play when your blog opens, it can be set up to do so.
For Podcasters, you can add a general program description and a program icon or logo that will appear in RSS readers.
What if my MP3 Files I upload aren’t playing correctly?
Blogamp requires that MP3 files be encoded at 44 kHz sample rate. We recommend that files be encoded at a minimum of 64/44 and for best quality 128/44. If you need help with encoding, find your preferences or options menu and change your settings to encode all MP3’s at these rates.
What are RSS feeds?
A "feed" is sometimes called an "RSS feed" or with audio, a "podcast feed". The word "RSS" stands for "really simple syndication". The end user subscribes to Feeds. A Podcast feed uses the same properties except it is typically referred to as RSS 2.0 because it attaches “enclosures,” which are direct download links to MP3’s of programs. Blogamp feeds are built right in to provide your listeners access to MP3 files that contain archive and latest audio published. A Blogamp feed is called is associated with the “POD” link on the Link Bar of your player. To add your own Feed, the “RSS” link on the Link Bar will allow your listeners to subscribe.
Where is my feed in my Blogamp menu?
Once you have created your Blogamp, you must let all your friends or clients know about your Blogamp and feed. Blogamp feeds are automatically generated to provide your listeners access via subscription (iTunes, MyYahoo, Odeo, Google, Juice) to MP3 files that contain latest audio and archives published. A Blogamp feed is associated with the “POD” link on the Link Bar of your player. To add your own Feed, the “RSS” link on the Link Bar will appear allow your listeners to subscribe.
How can I publish my feeds?
Usually a Podcast feeds are listed on Podcast Directories (like iTunes.) Blogamp however, lets you create a Blogamp player and feed without the need for a Blog or website. If you do not have a Blog set up, we recommend Feedburner, which generates text and single-plays thru Blogamp. See “Podcast Feeds” to build feeds by using the “Single-Play” code which will guarantee Blogamp will appear in your Feedburner posts.
How do I update or delete shows?
When you login, click on “new upload” and you will be taken to the window. If you want to ad the track to Feed or make it available directly from your Blogamp, simply check off the boxes adjacent to the track name. You can also add your show description so that listeners who have subscribed can learn more about your show. To edit previously uploaded shows, go to your playlist for editing or deleting.
How do I publish my Blogamp to my Blog or website?
Publish your Blogamp in a variety of ways by copying the code provided to your Blog’s template or in the weblog posts themselves. Provided your Blog allows HTML, you should have no problem with this as mostly all Blog software allows it. For Blog posts, you can add our new improved “Single-Play” which will only play a single track from your playlist. Don’t worry all Links in your Link Bar will remain active.
How can I update my feeds?
Your feed is automatically generated but Blogamp allows you to decide which files you wish to be made available for download. While having an active track in your Blogamp for on-demand browser listening, you can remove the access to the MP3 by unchecking the boxes next to each track name in your playlist.
